God's Girls

Today's teen girls live in a culture saturated by media influence, and the pressure is hitting them
from all sides. Turn on the T.V., open a magazine, go to the movies, listen to a CD and the
message is the same- happiness is dependent upon skinniness, sexiness and crossing lines.
Pop Culture lends advice on how to look and how to act. And our girls are listening.

To survive the teen years, whose definition of "good" or "popular" do they use? And what are the
costs? Add on pressure from guys and even their best friends, and it can be hard to know where
to draw the line. And what happens when the desire to fit in- whatever the cost- ranks higher than
following their instincts? Their parents' expectations? What happens when being "popular" means
breaking God's commands?

God's Girls programs meet girls in their world- the real world- and understand that the pressures
of being a girl can be tough and the decisions they face can be even tougher. Covering topics
such as friendships, dating, modesty, and the pressure to be someone or something they are not,
